Squirt Gun painting is a classic summer art activity for kids. If you’re looking for an outside project to spark your child’s creativity, grab these materials and get started…
I filled a few cheap water guns with paint/water and let my daughter go to town creating a masterpiece outside! In addition to making a nice painting she also thought it would be fun to tie-dye her little brother {Eeek}!
For the paper I used a Post-it Wall Pad which is great for displaying their completed artwork once it has dried.
We’ve had these Post-it Wall Pads for a couple months and they are my new favorite thing! We regularly use them for plain ol’ painting and coloring in addition to the squirt gun painting activity. The paper is thick, they are large and they stick to the wall (just like a jumbo post it note) if you want to display artwork. I love hanging them around our house for a few days– It makes me smile when I walk into a room.
I currently have two hanging in my kitchen! 🙂
