Rainbow Slime Frappuccino Recipe:
If you’re looking for the perfect slime recipe, you can’t fail with this one (Borax free). I love slime because it is calming and gives us hours upon hours of play. With this particular one, we swirled up new drinks, pretended we were ordering at the Starbucks drive-thru, stretched it, shaped it and hunted for lost treasures we planted inside {my kid’s slime frappuccinos are still in the back cupholders of their Cozy Coupe Car for more play tomorrow!}.
Ingredients (makes 2 tall cups):
- 2 1/2 cups Elmer’s Glue
- 2 1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
- Neon Food Coloring
- 5 tbl. Contact Solution
- 1 cup Shaving Cream
- 1 squirt Lotion
- Glitter
- 2 tall Starbucks cups (order a couple waters with your next drink)
Slime Layers (repeat for each color):
- Mix 1/2 cup Elmer’s glue, 1/2 tsp. Baking Soda, and 1 drop of neon food coloring.
- Add contact solution to the mixture a little bit at a time. Stir between additions until you reach the consistency you like (I used approx. 3 tsp. of contact solution total). Note: Adding too much contact solution will make your slime rubbery and not stretchy. Adding too little will make it sticky.
Fluffy Whipped Cream:
- Mix 1/2 cup Elmer’s glue, 1 cup shaving cream, 1/2 tsp. baking soda, and 1 squirt of lotion.
- Add contact solution to the mixture a little bit at a time. Stir between additions until you reach the consistency you like.
Assembly:
- Divide each color in half and layer in 2 tall Starbucks cups.
- Top with white fluffy slime (stretch and swirl to resemble whipped cream!)
- Add glitter on top for sprinkles!
THIS IS NOT EDIBLE and only for play!
We played with each color before creating our frappuccinos. A little work, a little play. 😉 The foam slime is uniquely awesome! PLAY and REPEAT!
