Create Your Own Chalk Paint Activity
What you need:
- Squirt Bottles
- Baking Soda
- Corn Starch
- Food Coloring (we like neon)
- Vinegar
This is one of my daughters favorite warm weather activities. I purchased the squirt bottles pictured at our local Kroger. Fill the bottles with equal parts corn starch and baking soda (no need to measure) and add a few drops of food coloring to each. Stir them up and let your kids twirl around decorating the driveway. It dries very pretty and washes off easily.
Once your kids have finished with the paint, fill the bottles with vinegar and let them squirt over their work watching the reaction. My daughter loves to see the paint bubble and fizz.
